Your questionnaire is substantially complete and the evidence you plan to submit is assembled. I give the submission an independent expert review, identify the remaining risks and help you decide what is still worth fixing, checking or leaving alone before you submit.

Near the End of the Assessment
By this stage, the questionnaire is mostly complete. Colleagues have supplied documents, evidence choices have been made and the submission deadline is getting closer.
The remaining uncertainty is about the decisions you have already made. Are the answers properly supported? Is the evidence relevant, current and in scope? Have you used the available document space well? Are there still weaknesses worth addressing with the time you have left?

What I Review
I review the questionnaire and the evidence you plan to submit together, then concentrate the detailed review on the areas where the remaining risk or uncertainty appears highest.
I review the questionnaire and intended evidence together, looking for inconsistencies, answers that are not well supported, scope or recency problems, duplicated evidence and areas where the available documents could be used more effectively.
The map shows where the main risks sit, what evidence needs attention, what can realistically still be fixed and what deserves review first.
I review up to 15 priority evidence items in detail, selected according to the risks identified. The detailed review concentrates on the issues most likely to matter before submission.
Submission Readiness Brief
The findings are kept concise and organised according to what they mean for the remaining time before submission.
Areas where I see no obvious reason for more last-minute work. This gives you permission to stop working on areas that are already adequate.
Material, realistically fixable issues that deserve attention now.
Items that need internal confirmation, such as applicability, current version, reporting period, ownership or approval.
Genuine limitations that are unlikely to be credibly fixed in the remaining time.
Longer-term improvements for the next management-system or reassessment cycle.
How It Works
You provide the questionnaire, the evidence you plan to submit, the supporting documents, assessment scope, deadline and relevant context. I confirm that the assessment is sufficiently complete and at the right stage for the review.
I review the questionnaire and intended evidence together, build the Submission Risk Map and review up to 15 priority evidence items in greater detail.
You receive the Submission Readiness Brief and we work through the strongest areas, remaining material risks, highest-value final fixes, items that need verification, limitations to accept and areas where you can stop working.
You make the corrections you decide to implement. For the following five working days, you can ask questions about the findings. I also re-check up to five revised or replacement priority evidence items or other material corrections.
Both can use the Submission Readiness Review. The key qualifier is the stage of the current assessment.
For a reassessment, the previous scorecard and Improvement Areas become part of the context. Relevant historical evidence is investigated where it materially affects a current answer or priority finding.
The review focuses on the current submission strategy and priority evidence. It does not include a detailed review of the entire historical EcoVadis Document Library.
Who Does What
I provide the quality check and expert judgement. Your company remains responsible for maintaining the questionnaire, making corrections and approving the final submission.
The standard review assumes that the main assessment work has already been completed. Broad stakeholder mapping, designing the assessment plan, building an evidence inventory from scratch, chasing colleagues and completing the questionnaire sit outside the service.
I review the questionnaire and intended evidence together as a whole. Detailed review is limited to up to 15 priority evidence items selected according to the risks identified, rather than a detailed page-by-page review of every possible document.
If larger unfinished areas are discovered, I identify them and their priority. Writing all missing policies, creating sustainability programmes or implementing missing measures is outside the standard review.
For five working days after the review session, you can ask questions about the findings. The service also includes one re-check of up to five revised or replacement priority evidence items or other material corrections.
EcoVadis remains solely responsible for its assessment, evidence evaluation and scoring decisions. The review does not guarantee or predict a particular score, badge or medal.

The questionnaire should be substantially complete, the intended evidence portfolio assembled and the main internal evidence gathering largely finished.
You should also have enough time remaining to act on the findings. As a working rule, allow around 10 working days before your intended submission date.

The review takes approximately 10 working days from receipt of the complete set of materials needed for the review.
That includes the initial screening, detailed review of priority evidence, the Submission Readiness Brief, a 90-minute review session and five working days afterwards for questions and one limited re-check.

The detailed review is concentrated on the areas where the screening identifies the greatest risk, uncertainty or potential inconsistency. It is not a page-by-page review of every document your company holds.

Creating or implementing substantial missing elements is outside the standard review.
The EcoVadis Submission Readiness Review costs €3,950 excluding VAT.
